💼 For Freelancers

The Seller Guide

Practical tips to help you get discovered, get hired, and get paid faster on Blink Gigs.

🎯

1. Build a Profile Buyers Trust

Add a clear profile photo, write a short bio about your skills, and select the languages you speak — Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa are big advantages with local buyers. A complete profile is the first thing that builds trust before a buyer even reads your gig.

✍️

2. Write Titles & Descriptions That Convert

Lead with the result you deliver, not just your job title — "I will design a modern logo for your business" beats "Logo design". In your description, explain exactly what's included, your process, and what you need from the buyer to get started. Add relevant tags so your gig shows up in search.

💰

3. Price Your Packages Strategically

Use all three tiers. Make Basic an easy, low-risk entry point; Standard your "best value" option with a bit more scope; and Premium for buyers who want speed or extras. Most orders land on the middle tier when it's clearly the best deal.

4. Reply Fast, Reply Professionally

Buyers often message several freelancers before choosing one. Quick, clear, friendly responses — even just to ask a clarifying question — significantly increase your chances of winning the order.

📦

5. Protect Your Delivery Time

Only promise a delivery time you can consistently hit, even when you're busy. Late deliveries hurt your stats and your reviews far more than an honest, slightly longer delivery time upfront.

6. Earn Reviews That Sell For You

After every delivery, politely let the buyer know you'd appreciate a review if they're happy with the work. A handful of detailed five-star reviews does more for your gig than almost anything else.

💸

7. Get Paid Without Stress

All earnings settle in your Blink Gigs balance once a buyer approves delivery. You can withdraw to any Nigerian bank account from your Earnings page once your balance reaches ₦2,000.00 — keep your bank details up to date in Settings.

🛡️

8. Stay in Good Standing

Always keep communication and payment on Blink Gigs — never agree to take a deal off-platform. Deliver only original work, respond to disputes honestly, and treat every buyer with respect. This keeps your account healthy and your gigs visible.
