Terms of Service

Welcome to Blink Gigs ("Platform", "we", "us"). By accessing or using Blink Gigs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, browsing, or using any service on Blink Gigs, you agree to these Terms and all applicable Nigerian laws. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of Nigeria or otherwise authorised to transact in Nigerian Naira (₦) to use Blink Gigs. Businesses may register using company details.

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@blinkgigs.ng of any unauthorised use.

4. Buyer and Freelancer Roles

Users may register as Buyers (to purchase services) or Freelancers (to offer services). Accounts are non-transferable. You may not operate multiple accounts for the same role without prior written approval.

5. Payments and Escrow

All payments are processed via Paystack and Flutterwave, and held in escrow until the buyer approves delivery. Platform fees are deducted before releasing earnings. See our Escrow Policy for full details.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users must not: post false or misleading information; solicit payments outside the platform; engage in harassment, fraud, or copyright infringement; or list any prohibited services. See our Prohibited Services Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment and order completion, all deliverables and rights transfer to the buyer, unless the gig description specifies otherwise (e.g. license-based work).

8. Disputes

Disputes must be raised within 7 days of delivery. Blink Gigs acts as a neutral mediator. Our decision on disputes is final.

9. Limitation of Liability

Blink Gigs is not liable for the quality, legality, or accuracy of services listed by freelancers. Our total liability to any user shall not exceed the amount of the disputed transaction.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, with or without notice. Funds in escrow at time of suspension will be handled according to our Dispute Resolution process.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Check this page regularly.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved under Nigerian jurisdiction.
